That is it. Let’s make room for 2008
Well, another year has finished, the fireworks in the Netherlands are over, the French have eaten their «Foie Gras» and the Chinese are working hard on their preparation of the Olympic Games that will start on the special date of «08-08-08». So that was it, 2007 is really closed now.
Happy 2008
Back at work, everyone wishes each other a happy new year, with all the superlatives that one can think of. Emails from friends and emailing from whatever internet minded company are wishing me the same magical mixture of success, good health and happiness. Wow, I start to think that indeed 2008 will become something really special. One last look and the horoscope and astrology: even better, Jupiter is there for everyone so it seems! No difficulties thus for the Dow Jones, CAC40 or any other investment and stock exchange.
Unbelievable that this may be true: imagine for a moment that 2008 will become really a marvellous year. The Chinese will be able to make it start rain when needed for the Games, people will have all what they want for and besides I will not have any cold this year. Youpie!
Don’t be afraid
Well I am willing to give it a try again this year, especially with all the good wishes from everyone. Besides, when I was looking Apocalypto, from Mel Gibson on the Maya’s, the other day, I retain what the father said to Jaguar Paw that “one should not be afraid, or else you are lost”. So thus I will not be afraid of any more natural disasters, any financial crisis, and any terrorist activities or any other impossibilities and instead keep my mind open, healthy and stress free to be ready to fight and to welcome all the good parts of 2008.
I can’t really complain about 2007 neither so let’s take a chance. It’s decided : yes, I will put all chances at my side to indeed make it a happy and good 2008 … as well as for those near to me, ofcourse.
