Sudoko - and the game continues!

Since the publication of my article on the Sudoko trend, I have had many visits. I didn’t expect to have so much success with my initial article on Do You Sudoko. But, not only the article has been well referenced by Google and his friends, but, I also got quite some people that spoke to me directly about the article.

Since the article, I have noticed that the Sudoko trend is getting bigger and bigger, so here is a list of things to show the importance of the lastest international trend:

  • In the metro and train, you can now always find someone working on a sudoko puzzle.
  • There doesn’t seem to be any segmentation in age or country: young and old (my parents got to sudoko too) and many countries.
  • In France, games about Sudoko promise winners electronic Sudoko puzzles.
  • In France - again - the editor "First" has registered its’s best sales for 2005 with their Sudoko book
  • Sudoko can be written in whatever form, I even wonder if there is one official way of writing. sudoko, sododu, soduko ..... whatever, it works.

But the most funny thing I want to tell you about is the sudoko with photos. I was being alerted on this type of variant: the Hamster Sudoko.

PNG - 62 kb

The intersting part of this phot sudoko is that it uses Flickr images, which is a photo website accessible for everyone : www.flickr.com

Sudoko is really becoming a huge success, I wonder if there were any marketing or trend specialists who did predict so.... It now becomes difficult to meet someone who has never touched a sudoko puzzle or hasn’t heard about it at least.

Should you have any other variants of interesting info on Sudoko, let me know it and I will enrichen the article.

Have fun with Sudoko !
